A sample illustration to spot a fake Tag Heuer F1 model
1.Took the case reference off the back WAH1111 and did a google search on TAG Heuer wah111 EVERY hit shows the exact watch you picture. Especially dial text placement for “Professional” and “200m”, which I especially like on this redesign as squeezing much of the text above the 6 gets too busy.
2.look for all of the typical indications…deeper caseback engraving (vs shallow found on lots of replicas), crown and bracelet clasp markings.
The last step (which I could not do with these pics) is:
Check the serial number on the caseback against the serial number sticker on the box & check the strap number suffix on the box for the complete model number of the New Release F1 Full Size w/ white dial and black rubber strap… WAH1111.BT0714
If all of this matches you have virtually exhausted every means possiible of confirming authenticity short of opening the case to view the movement. Which at this point is unnecessary.
It’s seems like a lot of effort, but when you actually know what to look for it worth it.
The original box tshould have a matching serial number sticker.
